If you've been in the industry for more than a day, you more than likely have either gone to the library or Amazon and looked for a few network marketing books to help you grow your business. But what are the best ones, and will they really help me build my business?
Here is a list of what many consider to be the top 3 books that are on the market right now.
First is, "Your First Year In Network Marketing" by Mark Yarnell and Rene Yarnell. Both veterans in the industry, they go into in great depth, as the name implies, many of the emotions and thoughts that one goes through, particularly the first year that you join a MLM company as a distributor. Really gets into the mindset of a brand new business builder and helps conquer your own mind for final success.
Next on the list is "Be A Network Marketing Super Star" by Mary Christensen. Again, another fundamental book that is designed as a primer and intro to the industry. It does indeed contain alot of practical steps that brand new distributors can sink their teeth into. For example, there are strategies on lead generation, downline building, and product positioning which go far beyond the scope of normal training provided by your company.
Finally, there is the Ultimate Guide To Network Marketing By Joe Rubino. Not to be missed among other network marketing books, what makes this one unique is that it is more a compilation of a bunch of different experts in the MLM field. In fact each chapter is written by a different author, giving you a varied perspective on how to be successful.
Now, those books are more mainstream and deal with issues that we all deal with in the industry.
However, here are two other books to add to the mix, which deal with contemporary issues in the field, specifically how to apply both direct response marketing and build ones business on the internet.
Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard really was a ground breaking publication which really got into the proper mindset on how to deal with that business as a professional, rather than simply relying on passion to motivate you. Intrinsic with this is generating leads online and using the concepts of a funded proposal.
A key here that Mike introduces is the concept that one needs to be a leader and exhibit leader-like qualities in what he dubs as being an "Alpha Networker"
The Renegade Network Marketer by Ann Sieg is another contemporary ebook which really goes into alot of detail on how to look at ones business from a customer perspective and use direct response marketing principles as a means to grow ones business.
The phrase about being a renegade simply means that you do pretty much the exact opposite of what your upline is probably telling you how to grow your business. Things like establishing a target market, looking for the needs and desires of your potential customers, and speaking to it.
Those are simply a few of the excellent network marketing books that are on the market to help you grow your business. Go get one and educate yourself!
